All of our furniture is made in house, by us, so you can trust that you are getting something unique and well built, that you are sure to cherish for years to come.  As a small family run business we rely on happy customers by delivering quality products that exceed expectations.  This business is our bread and butter!
We can do just about anything with wood, and emphasise the use of recycled Australian timbers reclaimed from old dismantled structures, many of them built before the turn of the last century.
With Upcycled Wood Designs, you get to instantly speak direct with the actual furniture maker and designer of what will be the end product, from start to finish. We will always endeavour to give you a friendly personal experience with no middle man or cheesy sales man telling you what you think you want while pushing you into a sale.  Dave is certainly no sales man, but he will build you something that you will love for many years to come.

What types of timber do you work with?
We work with recycled / reclaimed timbers and sustainably sourced new timbers depending on application, and customer preference.   We have worked with many including.. Tasmanian oak, Victorian Ash, Messmate, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Red Gum, USA Walnut, USA White Ash, USA Cherry, Brown Barrel, Cut Tail.. and the list goes on… all timbers we use are sustainably sourced.  We can get any timber by special request.
What is your processing time?
A lot of preparation goes in to each piece we make, that is why it can be hard to gauge how long each piece can take to make, particularly when we have a lot of custom pieces to get through.   However, our usual lead time is 12-16 weeks.  This gives us enough time to order timbers, prepare, let the timber settle, and get through the queue of orders.
What about shipping?
We can deliver nationwide.  When requesting a quote leave us your post code so we can include a delivery quote.  You are also welcome to pickup from our workshop when it’s completed.  We can also deliver locally throughout the Albury/Wodonga region for a small fee. Our furniture comes complete, not flat packed, we are not Ikea! ;)
Other notes
Colour – Due to the nature of timber and grains, some variations in our products will occur.  We do keep a certain quality standard so rest assured you will get a quality product.  We do our best to work to your specifications should you have any special requests.
